A Minute With Pastor — 01/31/2010

For kids and teens, it’s their job.  It’s not a bad job, since you’re on vacation for the entire summer and get every weekend off.  You never receive calls from your boss at home (unless, of course, you have gotten into a little trouble) and you have some downtime (i.e. study halls) during the day.  The job is … school.

Truth is, everyone breathing (yes, that would still be you!) still attends school.  This world is the classroom and the professor is God Himself.  Each day brings a number of awesome object lessons into your life and an array of problems to solve (for His glory).  Not only that, but for the believer He has even provided a free tutor – the Holy Spirit.

So, how are the grades this semester?  How have you been doing on the tests?  Have you been keeping up with your reading (in the Bible)?  Have you followed your Tutor’s guidance?  There’ll be a report card soon!
