Life has a way of grabbing our interest. Driving with a flat tire won’t last long – it requires some immediate attention. An escaped lion in the zoo heading straight for you requires a quick response. A wandering child into a busy street necessitates instant action. None of those situations can be successfully delayed.
God, as the creator and sustainer of life, knows what it takes to get our attention. He knows what you’re made of and he knows what’ll grab your focus. Thankfully, He does so in a caring, loving way with humanity’s interest at heart. For a certain unbelieving king in the Book of Daniel, God deposited a certain dream in his head. Through interpretation of the dream, the king was given attention-grabbing info on future history.
You too, have been given the inside skinny on the future. What awaits you has been revealed in scripture. But what will you do with it? When will you act on it?
