A Minute With Pastor — 03/14/2010

It’s a wonderful sight to behold – a father and a son sitting in a booth talking about the issues of life.  That didn’t just begin today but was cultivated when the son was a lad and his father would come down to the child’s level and come into the child’s world.

Unfortunately, that relationship will meet with many obstacles as time passes by.  Distance (as the child moves away), health (as the father faces failing vitality), and money (as finances don’t allow for many trips to visit) will pose challenges.  The relationship will change, since the contact isn’t as close as it once was.

Thankfully, our relationship with our heavenly Father need not ever diminish.  God is not subject to faraway distances, failing health or money issues.  His involvement with you will stay the course of time.  So, what about your involvement with Him?  Will you feed it over time and see it continue to prosper?
