A Minute With Pastor — 03/21/2010

Time has a way nudging its way into our life and stretching and pulling us.  In our early years, time tends to be more an enemy (”I can’t wait until I’m older!”), in the latter years it becomes a friend as we see the benefits of seasoning and maturing which time brings.

Though we never seem to have enough of it, at each striking of midnight, God deposits 24 hours of life into our account.  While it never seems to be enough, it is just what we need to accomplish what He wants us to do.  Examining our priorities may help clarify what is most important and not necessarily most urgent.

While time affords opportunity to turn to the Savior, man may postpone that decision, choosing to make that “turn to God” later.  Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that later will come.  Don’t put off what you must do today.  Do it before the sun goes down!
