Life is filled with many choices. What would you like to do tonight? Where would you like to go? How would you like it cooked? Who would you like to invite over? When would you like to pick it up? Many of these choices are pretty straightforward and don’t involve much thought.
But life isn’t always so simplistic. There are indeed an amazing number of curves in the road and obstacles to deal with along the way. “Black and white” would certainly not be the description of many decisions we are called upon to make.
Yet when it comes to the game of life and the final say, One stands alone in the decision making process. God has the final say, for He is Creator. The clay does not tell the potter what to do and how to do it. So too, the created does not tell the Creator how to run His world. Thankfully, we can rely on God alone to perfectly accomplish His plan — even when it involves us!
