A Minute With Pastor — 06/27/2010
Backing into another vehicle will usually leave some sort of mark on your car – let along the other car. Colliding at mid-field with another soccer player will leave both bodies with a bruise or worse. Two objects hitting with force usually leaves a mark.
As you examine your life today, what marks have you truly left on others? No, not physical scars but instead, spiritual dents. How have you impacted others for the Lord? How has your life made a Christ-like difference to those within your sphere of influence?
Your life is but a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow (James 4:14). Since it is so brief, it is imperative that you make the most of your days by redeeming the time (Eph. 5:16). So, how are you living today that will leave a spiritual dent on someone tomorrow? What will you purpose to do (differently) in order to leave that eternal mark?
