It plays no favorites and ultimately makes its intrusion into everyone’s life. It always comes too soon and never shows up even one second late. It is a painful event and filled with much sorrow. No one laughs in the face of it, though we can have confidence despite it. It arrives at that final moment when we breathe our last breath. It is called death!
In recent days, a number of high profile individuals have succumbed to its far-reaching tentacles and grimy claws. Whether to the music industry, the corporate world or the news media, death comes knocking on every door. No one has yet to discover the fountain of youth and bypass this concluding event.
However, Christian, death is the door through which you must go in order to enter into the presence of God Himself. It alone is the way He has assigned for the created to meet the Creator face to face. So get ready!
