We all have a bit of this unsightly stuff hanging around our head.  No, it’s not shaggy hair, crusty eyes or facial acne.  It’s something more to the side of the head – actually on both sides of the head.  It’s called earwax!

Though this brownish-yellowish substance is gross to some and purged by most via Q-tips or some other object, it actually has an amazing function!  Earwax protects the ear by trapping dust particles, fungal spores, bacteria, and dirt, thereby preventing them from entering inner recesses and possibly damaging the ear.  If these foreign matters would gain entrance into the ear, a host of diseases could form.  Not just that, but earwax repels insects, mites and other creatures.

Did this earwax come about by random chance and natural processes?  Or was it purposed from the beginning by the Creator Himself?  It’s an easy choice!
