Growing up as the youngest of five, I was the likely target of tall tales. On one occasion, on a family drive in the country, my brothers had me convinced that brown milk (i.e. chocolate milk) came from brown cows. My dad had convinced us all that the one and only answer to dandelions was a dandelion tool picker.
Similarly, many a Christian has been told that evolution is a fact, not a theory, a scientific proof, not a hypothesis. Hearing such ideas (e.g. billions of years, prehistoric dinosaurs) over time have cemented them-selves as gospel in the church, let alone our textbooks!
The answer has always been at our fingertips – the Word of God – and our eyelids – the creation of God. His handiwork continually declares there is a God and none besides Him. All other ground is sinking sand. The One who formed and created is the One who will require an accounting one day. Are you prepared?
