Red-headed.  Temperamental.  You were warned.  A person can only take so much.  These are some of the excuses, ahem, I mean reasons, that are offered for the occurrence of anger.  None, however, are legit.

Instead, according to the Bible, the manifestation of anger outwardly (e.g. hurtful words, malicious deeds) stems from anger inwardly — a heart of anger (Luke 6:45).  We will never win the battle with anger if we are in denial and if our heart is fixed on pleasing self.

Since the inward leads to the outward, it is absolutely vital that you address the matter of the heart.  If you will delve into this inner chamber and undergo serious and honest examination, what should spring forth is repentance as you agree with God that your anger is sin and in need of forgiveness.  Then, you must begin to change the state of your heart by filling it with the Word of God and making it your goal to please God.
