About Pastor Jim
After graduation from Penn State University, I headed to Anchorage, Alaska and quickly secured a job. My boss began inviting me to his church and one weekend I accepted that invitation and showed up for church. The message I heard that morning, “The 10 Signs of a Rebellious Person,” hit the target and prepared me for what would happen days later.
On Thursday night, two men from this church knocked on my door. As they shared from the Bible, I understood I was a sinner in need of a sinless Savior. That evening, God adopted me into His family as I, by His grace, believed on His Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior.
Three years later, I enrolled in and later graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania) in 1992. After planting and pastoring a church for 2 1/2 years in northeast Indianapolis, I became senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Wabash, Indiana in 1995. After 6 1/2 years of fruitful ministry but sensing a different direction, God opened the door to becoming the senior pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church of Dublin in February, 2002.
I am married to a wonderful, godly woman, Jacquie, and have been graced with four children: Jessica, Austin, Caroline and Joelle.
