Awana

Awana is a strong, biblically-based program which incorporates Scripture memory, an awards program at every level, fantastic game times, regular theme nights, a Christmas party, and the Awana Grand Prix in the spring. Our program provides a 3:1 child-to-staff ratio. Our leaders are committed to Christ and to investing in the lives of your children.

Kids will make lasting friendships and gain wisdom from the word of God that will guide them for a lifetime.

Preschoolers (ages 3 and up) through sixth graders are invited to join us Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for a super-charged, fun time of learning at Awana!

Preschoolers attend Cubbies and meet Cubbie Bear and friends each week.  Parents work with their preschooler at home to help them learn their verse (Bear Hug) each week.  Every two weeks, the child can earn a patch for his or her blue vest! Cubbies can also review Bear Hugs and earn “Apples”—award stickers to put on their Apple Tree section in their Handbook.

Kindergarteners through second graders attend Sparks Club.  The Sparkies wear a red vest and earn “jewels” for their crowns as they complete sections in their Skipper, Hiker, and Climber Handbooks.

Third-through sixth-grade boys and girls attend “T & T”.  Clubbers memorize verses to complete their Discoveries to earn awards. T&T clubbers wear a green t-shirt uniform on which their awards are placed.

Boys and girls progress through their Handbooks at their own pace, with the goal of completing their Handbook by the end of the school year. For extra-motivated clubbers, there are also extra-credit handbooks available.
