Does not Christmas trace to some pagan traditions and calendar events?  Some scholars believe that Jesus was actually born in the fall, not the winter.  Though we are exhorted to remember the death of Jesus, nowhere are we exhorted to remember the birth of Jesus.  So, should we or should we not celebrate Christmas – on December 25?
